The group is organized globally with corporate purchasing centralized in the headquarters in Monheim am Rhein, Germany and the operational purchasing departments located in around 18 countries worldwide.

Cognis’ main focus is to develop long term relationships with suppliers that meet our standards in terms of product quality, safety, reliability of supply, international presence and competitive market conditions. Strategic materials and services are managed by category managers on a global basis.
